Craigslist is an interesting site. They get daily about 50 million visitors according to the world news on ABC. They offer many different categories to advertise, and sell things, services offered, etc. There are literally millions of people posting, reading, etc. So how do you post ads, and win on craigslist?
Step one: change your ads, and wording frequently. read other ads from other people to get ideas. Read the google ads that appear on your web pages, and write craigslist postings relevant to those. Use some HTML code for instance: an href tag
example: to make your link say: Click Here, or Visit Here, use this tag
DOn't just get stuck in posting in one category. Use the airline category, the employment category, and the foreclosure category. I have made equal amounts of money using all three.
How to get around craigslist flagging. The flagging is occurring from other craigslist users. Don't make your ads stand out from all of the others. I know this is contrary to what you would think, but if you write flashy ads, you will probably get flagged quickly.
Open multiple craigslist accounts. There are some marketers that have over 100 craigslist accounts. I myself have about 20.

Adsense No-No
DO NOT CLICK ON YOUR OWN ADS.....If you haven't already read that on Google's pages. They track fraudulant clicks. IF you it enough....they'll close your account and will never give you another one. Just a helpful tip.
Posting Ads on Craigslist
When posting your ads on craigslist, I have learned that being subtle and not too flashy goes a long way. What typically happens is that if you post your ad with the flashy title with exclamation points, and other ways to attract attention, you usually will do just that. The down side, someone will flag you.....usually pretty fast. Make your ads relevant, and not flashy. I've tried both ways, and have been more successful with the ad that is honest, to the point, and relevant. It might not get as many clicks as fast, but it will stay running longer. Just some food for thought.

Tips for your ad content
Tip one: make sure you change the wording of your ads. Don't just use the same verbage all the time.
Tip two: Don't overpost. Craigslist has programs that will pick up on your wording, and link and will block it...usually temporarily.
Don't get discouraged if you're getting flagged. There are some people that will just flag you.... especially if they're doing something similar. You are competitors. Just keep posting everyday.
There are many people making money utilizing craigslist huge amount of traffic.

Post 3 ads on Craigslist a day
Posting 3 classified ads on craigslist a day, can make you as much as $300 a month. It doesn't get any easier than this. Takes about 15 minutes, and costs nothing. The best work from home job ever. Why does Google pay money for this?
Google's largest income generator is online advertising. In 2003 they came up with an incredible concept: Adwords, and Adsense. What are they?
Adwords is a program that anyone or company can sign up and have advertisements appear on search results (ever see at the top of the page when you do a search it says "sponsored listings")for a cost per click. In other words, a company pays Google to have there ad appear, and everytime someone clicks on that ad, Google gets paid by the advertiser.
The other way an advertiser gets exposure on Adwords is via content ads. That's where Best Deal comes in. By allowing Google to put ads on our site, they pay a percentage of the cost to the publisher...you and I.
In other words, the advertiser has an ad they are paying everytime someone clicks on it.....some money goes directly to Google, and some goes to the person allowing it on their site. That's how you make money. Drive people to your web page. The fastest and easiest way.....Craigslist. All free.

Ezine Articles. A great way to generate natural traffic
Ezine articles http://www.ezinearticles.com is a another free way to generate traffic to your site. How does it work? You can sign up for a free account on ezine to allow you to write articles related to your web page. Then at the end of your article post a link to your web page, as you would similarly on craigslist. The difference is, it won't be visible right away like craigslist, but can get you higher rankings on Google, yahoo, or msn.
How does it do that? well ezine articles website is visited hundreds of thousands of times a day, therefore Google's programs called spiders, search the content of ezine more often. Their "spiders" pick up your article with the link to your webpage and list in in their indexed pages.
A good way to pick a "niche" topic related to your webpage is to think of a long tail keyword phrase. For example, if I have a webpage related to cheap airfares, I might base my article around the keyword phrase: "how to find cheap airfares to Hawaii in the summer". Write your article with that keyword phrase embedded in the content as many times as you can logically do it. Then put the link to your web page. Within a week or two, you will probably start to get some traffic without placing ads on craigslist.
If you have the discipline to do this everyday, with a different keyword phrase, eventually your income will continue to go up.....with no monetary investment.
